Getting from Hakone to Yokohama to Tokyo using the JR Pass

Our family will be using our 7-day JR pass for the last day when we travel from Hakone to Yokohama to visit Cup Noodles Museum, then back to Tokyo for the last leg of our 12-days trip.

I will like to know which are the best routes (and trains) we could take utilising our JR pass. From Hakone to Yokohama, then from Yokohama to Tokyo.

Thanks very much!

Hi there,

Hakone, Yokohama and Tokyo all have stations on the Tokaido Shinkansen, which is the main bullet train line between Tokyo - Osaka. These stations are Odawara (for Hakone), Shin-Yokohama and Tokyo stations. You can use the JR Pass to travel directly between these stations, from these stations local trains run throughout each area.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Thank you Daniel-san!

From the Yokohama visitors' guide, it seems there's a JR train from Shin-Yokohama to Sakuragicho Station which is within walking distance from the Cup Noodles Museum. Does that mean we can continue to use our JR Pass to take that train to the museum?

Many thanks for your help!
