first time in japan

hey all!

we are planing on coming to japan during october.
we are a family of five and we are starting our trip in TOKYO.
we are planing on staying in tokyo for three days and then continue to FUGI- staying there in hakone.
after two days we want to go to osaka, stay there for a couple of days and head back to tokyo but we plan to stop iin nara for a day and also kyoto.

do you think we should get the pass or no? is iit valid for all transportation? also from and to the airports?

thanks in advance,

Hi there,

I recommend looking at a 7 day JR Pass for travel to Osaka, Nara and back to Tokyo. These are the most expensive routes and using a JR Pass here will give you the best possible savings.

The JR Pass also covers travel to and from the airport, in addition to local travel on the JR Network in Tokyo and Osaka.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
