Hi,

I had changed our itinerary and not going to Tokyo because of budget constraint.
Can you suggest to me about the train / pass should I buy for our trip on 28/4 - 5/5/2015.
We are traveling with 4 senior citizens, 4 children & 2 infants, and of course our luggage are big & heavy.

Day 1: KL - KIX - Arashiyama - Kyoto
Day 2: Kyoto
Day 3: Kyoto - Nara - Osaka Namba
Day 4: Osaka Namba - Kobe - Osaka Namba
Day 5: Osaka Namba - Rinku Premium Outlet - Universa Studio - Osaka Namba
Day 6: Osaka
Day 7: Osaka
Day 8: Osaka Namba - KIX

Thanks.

Hello Diana,

The Kansai area, in which Kyoto, Osaka nara and Kobe are all located is not that big and tickets prices are rather low.

My advise would be to buy an ICOCA + Haruka package, use the Haruka ticket for travel to Kyoto and then use the ICOCA card for the rest. The ICOCA card is a prepaid travel card and will make travel very easy.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
