Hi there,

A 7 day JR Pass will work very will with your itinerary when used from Day 4 - Day 10. These are long routes and you will make very good savings compared to purchasing normal tickets. Additionally the JR Pass is valid on the local JR Network in Tokyo, Osaka as well as a good excuse to make day trips to Hakone, Nara, Nikko or wherever your fancy takes you.

The only part that is not included is the bus between Kanazawa - Shirakawago

I've used several night buses in the past and for me its impossible to sleep on them. Its a real waste if you lose your next day to fatigue when you are only in Japan for little over a week. That said, it could a be good option if you can sleep on the bus and really need to watch your budget.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Hi there,

I don't think it will be rushed, think it would be more relaxed than anything.

What part would you like advise on? I think it looks good as it is now.

Hi again,

All Shinkansen lines and JR services are included. You can also use our map here: www.jrpass.com/map

Local JR lines in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka are included but other transport like the metro is not. You can use www.hyperdia.com to plan your trips and routes.

Hope you find this useful!
Daniel
