Hi there,

Best options for the following :

Day 1 - arrive Narita airport from HKG , destination - Nipporri station .
Day 2 - fm Nipporri station to sensoji temple in Asakusa
Day 3 - fm Nipporri to gotemba premium outlet ( which is the nearest station)
Day 4 - fm Nippori to Mount Fuji (nearest station)
Day 5 - fm Nippori to Hakone ( nearest station)
Day 6 - fm Nipporri to Disneyland Tokyo
Day 8 - fm Disneyland to Narita international airport( can I depart taking bus from one of the hotel in disneyland?)

Thinking buying JR Kano Area pass for day 3 to day 5, is this a good option
Please advise.
Thank you

Hi there,

The Kanto pass could be useful for travel to Fuji and other day trips from Tokyo.

It however does not cover to Gotemba station, from there free buses run to the premium outlets. There are direct buses going from Tokyo to Gotemba, this will probably be the best option to look into.

There are also buses between Tokyo Disneyland and Narita Airport, it's best to ask your hotel for actual departures.

Hope this helps!
Daniel

Thank you, Daniel .

Is there different in price taking the same route from one place to another? Ex Narita int airport to Nipporri station can cost 1240 yen or 2470 yen based on different time of the day.

What is the beast way to travel on train to Gotemba premium outlet?
Can I use the Kanto pass to visit Fujiyoshida town.?

Hi Daniel -

Looking for advice for my trip - just bought the Japan Rail Pass and

Day 1 (Mon): arrive 10pm to Haneda airport - is there anywhere I can exchange my voucher for the pass?
Else, what's the best way to get to Tokyo towers?

Can I use the pass on the subway as well?

Day 2/3: was planing to hike Otama Trail or Mount Takao - can I use the rail pass to get to either of these?
Day 4: planning to go to Kyoto via train - this would be through the Japanese Rail pass, correct? How do I reserve a seat?
Day 5: planning on taking the train from Kyoto to Narita international airport where I have a 6pm flight - this is feasible, correct? How much time do I need?

Thanks!

Hi again,

Sorry for the late replay. It's just super busy here.

Exchange desks will be closed before 10pm, you I'd advise activating your JR Pass the following day. You could either use the Tokyo monorail + Yamanote line to get into Tokyo or a (night) bus from Haneda airport. A later option would be use a taxi.

The subway is not included in the JR Pass.

The JR Pass does travel cover to Takao and and travel to Kyoto. To reserve a seat, please see this guide.

Yes you have more than enough time to travel from Kyoto - Narita Airport, do reserve 5 hours for it though. In case there may be a delay of sorts.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
