I would like to know what would be the best itinerary to visit Tokyo, Mt. Fuji (probably day visit), Hakuba (1 night), Kyoto and Osaka. I will be traveling by train and would also like to know if the Rail Pass would be my best option. I have been in Tokyo before, so I will probably only spend 2 days in the city. My trip is planned for 7-8 days, arriving in Tokyo and Flying back from Osaka.

For this route, if is likely best to buy normal rail tickets as this will be cheaper than buying a 7 day JR Pass. A JR Pass would have been great if you returned to Tokyo after Osaka.
