Hi,

I will be spending 7 days in Japan, 1st stop: Narita to Kyoto (will be hop around stations for sightseeing) and then Kyoto to Tokyo (will also be station hopping eg, shinjuku, shibuya, ueno, asakusa, harajuku etc) and Tokyo to Narita.
I would like to know if buying the 7 days JR pass will be more cost efficient then buying single tickets for all my stops.
And i would also like to know, when i book my JR pass online in singapore, i would collect it when i arrive in japan. Is the trip from narita to kyoto inclusive in the JR pass concession?

Hope to hear from you soon.
Thanks!
Vic (Ms)

Hello Vic,

The 7 day JR Pass is about the same price as a normal return ticket Tokyo - Kyoto, with that in mind it does make for an interesting option. As any additional travel will help you to make savings, such as travel to Narita Airport or on local JR lines in Tokyo.

As for booking the JR Pass, we have to send an exchange voucher to you by express post, for instance your address in Hongkong. Delivery information can be found below:

Hope this helps,
Daniel
