Hi, First of all this is a very good service as a first timer, the information about transportation is quite overwhelming.

We are 6 in a group, all adults (23-55 years old). We are planning to have a 3 day trip around Tokyo and if possible a day trip in Osaka, going back to Tokyo at night time. We are staying near Higashi-Nakano station. I would like to know if its better to purchase JR Tokyo Wide Pass, or the [Tokyo Subway 72-hour Ticket + Keisei Skyliner One-way Ticket (Limited Express)]? And will buy Suica Card or any day ticket to Osaka.

We plan to go to these places:

Sensō-ji
Tokyo Skytree
Ameya Yokocho Market
Hie Shrine
Kabukicho (Red light district)
Tsukiji Fish Market
Shiubuya
Imperial Palace (have to book in advacen) FREE
Takeshita Steert (Cartoons)
Akihabara Electronics Town
Roponggi (1500 Y) nightlife
Odaiba
Karuizawa Price Hotel Ski Center (Nagano Japan) - I understand it is outside Tokyo and will purchase another ticket for this, unless you have recommendation?
Dotonburi, Osaka (if time is enough)

I'm sorry for all the questions. I would appreciate any advice from you.

Thank you.

Hello there,

First I recommend deciding on your trip to Osaka. If you go to Osaka, then a 7 day JR Pass is the best option. The cost of a 7 day JR Pass is about the same as a normal return ticket. From there any additional travel is free. Including travel to Karuizawa.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
