Hi,
Very excited to visit this beautiful country for Christmas and the new year.
Our itenerary is as follows:
Tokyo(5days)
Hanenda international airport- shinjuku
Day trip to sea world kamogawa
Day trip to Ueno to zoo, imperial palace, menu shrine, legal and etc

Tokyo-Kyoto by train
Kyoto sightseeing
Fly out from Kyoto to home

Would you suggest getting a rail pass?
If so then which one would be suitable?
Also do you have any itenerary suggestions?
Thanks!

Hello there,

I checked your itinerary to see if a JR Pass would be suitable but I recommend buying normal tickets for this one. As normal tickets cost less than the cost of a 7 day JR Pass. A JR Pass is useful when making a return Tokyo - Kyoto for instance. However you'll only go one way.

For some nice idea's on what else to do:

Hope this helps,
Daniel
