  1. We will arrive in Narita airport at 2:25 pm, Nov 5 this year, then take train to Kyoto.
  2. Nov 5 to 8: Stay in Kyoto as a base for 3 day trips to Himeji, Osaka and Kyoto......
  3. Nov 9 to 17: WALK JAPAN 10 Day Tour walk to Toyko from Kyoto.
  4. Nov 18: From Tokyo take train to Narita for 10:30 am departure.

Please help to suggest the best choice between 7 days JR Japan Pass or 3 days JR West Rail Pass.
Also the best tour arrangement for the 3 days in Kyoto/Himeji.........

THANKS

Hi there,

The only viable option here would be the 7 day JR Pass, this because the West Pass simply does not cover the route that you will travel. You would certainly make good savings with the 7 day JR Pass. As it includes all your train travel, including Narita - Kyoto and to Himeji.

Hope this helps!
Daniel
