We are undecided about purchasing a 1 week pass or a 2 week pass. This is what the itinerary looks like for now but changeable...

Day 1- Narita Airport to Hotel in Ginza
Day 2- Explore
Day 3- Explore
Day 4- Explore
Day 5- Travel to Shizuoka
Day 6- Travel to Kyoto
Day 7- Explore Kyoto
Day 8- Travel to Osaka
Day 9- Travel back to Tokyo
Day 10- Explore Tokyo
Day 11- Hotel in Ginza to Narita

Hi there,

I think unless you intend to take day trips out of Tokyo (for example to Nikko) I recommend you take a 7 day Japan Rail Pass to start on day 5. In addition you should purchase the Suica N'EX combined ticket from Narita on arrival to give you some free travel on the metro around Tokyo.
