What pass is best to get, if any?

From late June to late July, for approximately 4 weeks, my daughter and I will be traveling to Japan to visit my daughter who is having a baby at the Naval Medical Hospital in Yokosuko, but she will go back to her base in Iwukuni after she has the baby.
We are trying to figure out if we should fly into Tokyo and take a train to Yokosuko, then train to Iwukuni, and then either fly out of Hiroshima or Iwakuni, or train back to Tokyo and fly out of there. I'm trying to figure out the most cost-effective way to do this. I am hoping we will also do some other traveling while we are there but I don't have any specifics.
Any help and information would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

Hello there,

I checked what would work best in your situation but it is hard to say exactly without knowing the exact

A 7 day JR Pass would certainly help you make good savings for normal tickets for a return ticket Yokosuko Iwakuni, at the same time it may be better to just buy normal tickets since it's a period of 4 weeks.

I could give you a definite answer if you have more in terms of dates but I can imagine this may be hard when planning for a baby.

Happy new year!
Daniel
