Hi there,

You could do it within a week, although it basically means spending only 1-2 days in each place.

However if you must stay in Tokyo, then I would not recommend visiting Hiroshima. It takes about 5-6 hours to get there from Tokyo and there's simply no point in doing it as a day trip. You could however add closer cities instead. Recommended visits include Nikko, Kamakura, Sendai, Hakone (also for viewing Fuji) and Fuji Five lakes.

Hi there,

The peace memorial park and museum is indeed well worth visiting. However it would mean sitting 10 hours in the train on a single day to visit it. You should ask yourself if that would be worth it.

Alternatively you can still consider staying in Kansai (Osaka/Kyoto) Hiroshima for a couple of nights. This would make it much more viable.
