Hello

I am planning to go to japan from 1 January 2017 to 14 January 2017.- tokyo/kyoto/osaka.

Should I start from Tokyo to kyoto to osaka and then back to tokyo from osaka OR start from Osaka to kyoto to Tokyo and then back to Osaka?

Basically I never been to Japan and dunno anything about the japan rail. I don't even know where to start , Tokyo or Osaka.

Please help.

thanks

Hi there,

If you travel between Tokyo - Kyoto - Osaka - back to Tokyo. Then it basically does not matter where you start. If anything look at what is cheaper to fly into/from and go from there. The JR Pass covers your route in any event :)
