Hi there!

I'm wondering what the best transit option would be for this itinerary (balance of price and efficiency): JRP 7 days, JRP 14 days, or no JRP.

Night 1: Tokyo
Night 2: Tokyo
Night 3: Tokyo
Night 4: Tokyo
Night 5: Hakone
Night 6: Kyoto
Night 7: Kyoto
Night 8: Kyoto
Night 9: Koyasan
Night 10: Osaka
Night 11: Osaka
Night 12: Hiroshima
Night 13: Tokyo
Night 14: Tokyo

Thanks!

Hi there,

I would go for a 14 day JR Pass, travel to Kyoto, Hiroshima and back to Tokyo are your expensive trips and these are more than 7 days apart, so a 7 day JR Pass would not work without re-planning. A 14 day JR Pass will help you travel to nearly all these places and can also be used for travel to the airport Tokyo.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
