Konnichi wa!

I'll be in Japan for 7 days, arrive and depart from Haneda.

Cities I'm going are Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, and for the destinations will be:
- Gala Yuzawa to ski - Izu Kawazu for sakura sightseeing - Overnight at Shirakawa-go - Take pictures in Mt. fuji - Nara park - Osaka castle - Universal Studio - Ginkakuji, Kinkakuji, Kiyomizudera

For above destinations, which train pass will be the best to get?

Cheers

Hi there,

It depends on your route, however I think a 7 day JR Pass would be your better option here in general. For the following reasons.

-The JR Pass covers most of the travel to Izu Kawazu, while the Hokuriku Arch Pass does not cover any.

-If you wish to return to Tokyo after the Kansai Area, then you have travel back via Kanazawa. This adds a lot of extra travel time, while the JR Pass can be used to travel directly via the Tokaido Shinkansen.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
