OSAKA VISIT

I m planning to visit Osaka in early May, arriving on May 2 and departing on May 9, would the following itinerary makes sense:

  1. May 2 arriving Osaka, taking train to Kyoto, arriving Kyoto at evening
  2. Visiting Kyoto May 3
  3. Kyoto to Kobe May 4 and spend a day in Kobe
  4. Return from Kobe to Osaka on May 5
  5. May 6, 7 & 8 at Osaka

Hello again,

I think part of your question was answered in your previous post.

This itinerary looks good, you should not have to spend a lot of time and money on travel as all cities are closely located and easy to reach.

If you wish some inspiration for what to do in Kobe, have a look at this website. For Osaka, have a look at the Osaka Amazing Pass.

If you are mostly interested in seeing the big city, then yes. But Kyoto is a wonderful traditional old capital and worth more time. Spending a day in Nara is well worth it as well. For more info, see:
