Odaiba, Manazuru and Karuizawa

Hello Ed,

The JR Kanto Pass does not include travel to Odaiba, it iso does not cover travel all the way to Manazura.

The good news is that it does cover travel to Karuizawa, and a return Karuizawa - Tokyo pays for more than the cost of the JR Kanto pass.

I have couple more queries :

1) is there a cheapest route you can recommend to travel from Shibuya to Odaiba?
2) for the trip from Shibuya to Manazuru eki, I am surprised the JR Kanto pass do not cover travelling all the way from Shibuya to Manazuru. Could you kindly please tell me which of the following route isn't covered by JR Kanto Pass, please? :

-Shibuya to Osaki (using JR Yamanote line) -Osaki to Shinagawa (using JR Yamanote line) -Shinagawa to Manazuru (using JR Tokaido Ling Rapid Acty)

Hello Ed,

1.) I would advise traveling from Shibuya to Otsuki and take the Rinkai line from there. For a more scenic route travel to Shimbashi using the JR and from there take the Yurakimome.

2.) Sorry, I should have gone into more detail here. All rail travel is covered by the pass, however travel from the station to the place you want to visit may still be a good distance. This part is not included.
