Hello Helen,

The hotel is not that easy to access. Here is the official access page.

They advise to take the Narita Express to Yokohama station and then take a 10-minute taxi ride to the hotel. This is what I would advise as well.

There is also an airport limousine bus, this may also be a good option.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Can you please also help with our next stop - we leave Yokohama on the morning of 28 March 2015 to go to Hakone - we were told we could catch a JR train south and then connect with another train that goes on a different train line up to Hakone - we are not sure if that other train to Hakone is a JR train - we are not sure if we can walk from the Hakone train station to our hotel which is the Hyatt - can you give us directions for this travel from Yokohama to Hakone please.

kind regards

Helen

Hi Helen,

Sorry this hotel also is not the easiest to access. The best route is to travel from your hotel to Shin-Yokohama station (presumable by taxi), from here take the Shinkansen (bullet train) to Odawara station. From there a hotel shuttle bus is available, or you can use the Hakone Tozan Line to Gora Station and walk from there (5min).

Hi Helen,

Travel is easy from Hakone - Kyoto. Take local transport within the Hakone area to Odawara station. From there take a bullet train directly to Kyoto station. From there either take a subway to your accommodation or taxi (the fare is around 1,000-2,000yen).

Hope this helps,
Daniel
