Hi all

I'll be travelling to japan from 14-26 dec with the following place in mind:
1) Tokyo (disneyland, shopping)
2) Takayama/Shiragawago/nagoya(1 nigh stay)
3) Osaka (universal studio)
4) kyoto

Any suggestions how to plan my iternary?

Hi there,

This looks like a nice plan. Takayama/Shiragawago/Nagoya is a bit much though for 1 night and a bit more time here could definitely be nice.

In general, the route looks good, will you be returning to Tokyo after Kyoto?

Travel near the end of the year, tends to get busy and it would be a good idea to reserve your tickets a couple in advance there.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Hi Daniel

Thanks for your comments. Yes, I'll be back in Tokyo for 4 days. Based on my planning, is it worth buying a 7 days Jr pass?

Hello again,

Yes, in that case a 7 day JR Pass is what I would recommend using (given that you would return to Tokyo within 7 days).
