Dear team,

I have finalized my travel itinerary and plan to purchase 1x 21 day JR pass as well as 1x 7 day JR Pass.

Please could you let me know if the below stations are all covered by JR Pass?
If not, what is the best way to travel to these stations using JR Pass and other methods?

Tokyo
Aomori
Sapporo
Hakodate
Akita
Kakunodate
Maebashi
Kanazawa
Hiroshima
Himeji
Shin-Kobe
Osaka
Nagoya

Thanks in advance,
Jake.

Hi there,.

Yes, they are all covered using the JR Pass and most of these cities have Shinkansen stops.

Out of curiosity, what are your plans for Maebashi?

Enjoy your travel!
Daniel

Hello Daniel,

Thanks for your reply, I looked at the JR Map already but just wanted to be sure that I wasn't making any mistakes.

From Maebashi I plan to visit Haruna Shrine and Kusatsu. I think that Maebashi is the best station to base myself around for those visits, would you agree?

Regards,
Jake.

Hi Jake,

For a Shinkansen stop, I do think Maebashi makes sense to stay at. Alternatively you could just hang around Kusatsu for a night.

The The Gunma Prefecture Governmental Building seems to be worth while a visit for a night view panorama from Maebashi as well.
