Hi there.

I recommend using a 7 day JR Pass for day 7 to day 13, this way you can make the best possible savings and get great use out of your pass.

Let's have a look at ticket prices.

Hakone (Odawara station) - Yokohama ¥ 3,020
Yokohama - Nagoya ¥ 8,740
Nagoya - Kyoto ¥ 5,390
Kyoto - Nara (return, day trip) ¥ 1,420
Kyoto - Arashiyama (return, day trip) ¥ 480
Kyoto - Osaka ¥ 560
Osaka - Hiroshima (return, day trip) ¥ 20,060

For a total of ¥ 39.670 or at least ¥ 10.560 in savings, as the 7 day JR Pass is 29,110.

Hope you find this useful,
Daniel

Hi again,

Without Hiroshima, it would be cheaper to buy normal rail tickets :)
