Hi,
Where is the Japan rail pass shipped from? I'm living in the USA. If shipped from abroad, will I have to pay taxes/duties on the value of the pass?
Thank you

Hi there,
There is no tax on the JR Pass, as it has no commercial value outside of Japan. Its comparable to a plane ticket.
There are no import duties on them.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
