Not as young as I used to be and need some help understanding the tables. For Example 09:19 departure from EBISU to OSAKA. (using JR pass) OSAKI is shown as a transfer, but there is no indication as to which track to go to or do I just stay on the same train? Same thing with SHINAGAWA shown as a transfer. I am certain it is simple, but I have given myself a headache
Thanks.

Hi there,
Hyperdia does not show track information. Generally transferring trains in Japan is not very hard and departures are displayed at electronic signs. I can give you more directions if you link to route.
In general though, don't worry :)
