Hokkaido itinerary & Furano Biei Round Tour Ticket
Hi guys. I am planning a 12 days trip to Hokkaido in mid July and would really appreciate your insight and advice on my itinerary.
However, please note that my friend and I will be doing the trip via public transportation as we do not have our driving licenses. I would prefer the holiday to be relaxing instead of skimming through every location.
Day 1: Land in New Chitose airport. Stay in Sapporo for a night.
Day 2: Furano
Day 3: Biei
Day 4: Travel to Asahikawa.
Day 5: Asahikawa/Daisetsuzan National Park
Day 6: Travel to Noboribetsu
Day 7: Noboribetsu
Day 8 Travel to Lake Toya and stay for the night.
Day 9: Travel to Sapporo
Day 10: Sapporo/Hokuryu-cho Himawari-no-Sato
Day 11: Day trip to Otoro
Day 11: Sapporo
Day 12: Depart Sapporo
Would be be grateful for your inputs on my itinerary.
Also, I would like to check regarding the Furano Biei Round Tour ticket, can I buy the pass outside of Japan? If not, where can I purchase it (New Chitose airport?) and if I can use the ticket immediately? When will the 2016 schedules for the Furano Biei Round tour ticket will be out? Where could I get more information when it is out?
Thanks in advance for your advice!
Here at JRPass.com we most focus the national Japan Rail Pass. I looked around for you but unfortunately do not have any information on the Furano Biei Round Tour ticket.
The ticket was in the past issued by JR Hokkaid, maybe you could contact them directly.
Wish I had more information for you.
