Hello there,

Since you'll be traveling Nagoya - Osaka - Fukuoka, I think that Osaka would make for a good base for travel to Kansai Airport and also to explore Osaka in the afternoon. Staying near Osaka is probably the best choice as you'll have access to both the Osaka subway and the Osaka JR network, making sure that you can visit any place within the city.

For the rest, what kinds of things would you like to see/do/experience? I can give you recommendation for almost anything but not within knowing what your interests are.

Have a god trip!
Daniel

Hi Danial,

Thanks for the information. I have google more from JR Rail website and some blogs post by travellers and
may change my plan to below itinerary:
Day 1 6 Sep - Osaka
Day 2 7 Sep - Osaka
Day 3 8 Sep - Osaka (Training from 8 am - 5 pm)
Day 4 9 Sep - Osaka (Training from 8 am - 5 pm)
Day 5 10 Sep - Osaka to Hiroshima
Day 6 11 Sep - Hiroshima to Fukuoka
Day 7 12 Sep - Fukuoka to Tokyo
Day 8 13 Sep - Tokyo
Day 9 14 Sep - Tokyo
Day 10 15 Sep - NRT-SIN (early morning flight - midnight of 14 Sep)

On Day 1, plan to explore Osaka city or RINKU premium outlet.
On Day 2, plan to do a day trip to Nagoya
On Day 3 & 4, plan to explore Osaka city in the evening, I will not do any sightseeing since
I am on business trip for training in the day and moreover, I have been to Osaka twice and
been to the castle, aquarium, universal studio, Umeda Sky building.
On Day 5, plan to leave Osaka for Hiroshima. I am meeting a friend there and most probably will cover
Miyajima island, Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and stay a night in Hiroshima.
On Day 6, plan to leave Hiroshima to Fukuoka and meet another friend who stay there. Will explore
Fukuoka with my friend and stay a night in the hotel.
On Day 7, plan to leave Fukuoka for Tokyo in the late afternoon. Stay a night in Tokyo.
On Day 8, plan to go Tokyo disneyland
on Day 9, plan to go Mt. Fuji if time permit.
On Day 10, back home on early morning flight.

With the change of my plan, should I get the JR pass 7 days pass. Do you think is it possible to cover all
the above?

Thanks again!

Regards
Janice

Hi Janice,

That looks much better! The JR Pass also covers all your train travel between the above cities and would help you make good savings in the process. If you have the possibility, go for this itinerary!

Enjoy!
Daniel
