Hello,
I wondered if you could help.
Would it be best for me to get a 7 day pass and then a 2 day Kansai wide area pass?

First 7 days would include Narita into Tokyo with 5 days exploring, travel to Kyoto and one day there-that would be the first 7 days.

The last 2 would involve travel from Kyoto to Osaka-1 day exploring there and the 9th day travelling to Kansai Airport.
Thanks,
Heidi

Hi Heidi,

Looking at your itinerary, I would advise buying normal tickets.

A JR Pass works wonderful if you make a return Tokyo - Kyoto/Osaka but it is not economic to buy a pass if you travel just one way.

The same goes for travel in Kansai, local travel within Osaka and Kyoto does not cost much and it is better to buy a pass locally, such as the 500yen Tokyo city bus pass and the Osaka Amazing Pass then buy a Kansai Pass.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
