Hi,
I would like to know which would be the cheapest option for travel.
May 25th arrive at narita and take the NEX to shinjuku
from may 25th to may 31st will be traveling around tokyo area (ginza, shibuya, yokohama, akiharbara)
may 31st depart for osaka
from may 31st to june 5th will do day trips to kyoto, hemiji castle and if there is time hiroshima
june 5th depart osaka and return to tokyo bay
june 5th to june 7th disneyland/disneysea
june 8th leave tokyo bay to narita airport (I was thinking to take the limousine bus service as it would be less stressful)

So i would like to know whether purchasing a 7 day pass (activate on may 30 or 31st) plus a suica card would be cheaper than buying the 14 day JR pass?

thank you for your time

Hi there,

While there is enough travel to make savings with a 14 day JR Pass in your itinerary, you could also use a 7 day JR Pass and use it to travel from May 31st to June 5th. Travel to Osaka and Hiroshima can be very costly without a JR Pass and the most important part is to have that covered.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
