Hi

I have been to Tokyo before and have not gone outskirt that time, this time I wanted to stay 2-3 days in Tokyo and most of the time outskirt. I would like to know if JR Pass will be covered on the places I would like to visit. Below are details

Nagoya
Kyoto
Osaka
Hiroshima

Im flexible with the number of days on each places but would like to know if JR Pass is a good idea. My current flight is Tokyo-Singapore-Tokyo. If its cheaper I can change my return flight from Osaka. Will be travelling from Dec 25-Jan 8.

Hope to hear from you the soonest!

Many Thanks!

Hello there,

Yes, the JR Pass will cover travel between all those cities and you'll be able to make good savings at the same time. In addition the JR Pass can be used to explore much of Tokyo, this includes the outer wards.

Depending on what you wish to see and do, you could consider an itinerary like this.

Tokyo (3 nights)
Nagoya (1 night)
Kyoto (4 nights)
Hiroshma (2 nights)
Osaka (2 nights)
Tokyo (1 night) + 1 night somewhere of your own choice.

We also have a great map which you can use for planning your trip.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
