Im planing a trip for 14 Days in Japan could you please make coments of what I have planed? , make suggestions if I need to skip things or add things .

Is going to Kyto faster from Takayama or Kanazawa or about the same ? Do you think I can add Kanazawa in my Itinerary?

From Osaka to Nahoshima how many hours will take me to get there ?

I am going to HIroshima from Kyto in one day and one night is it enough time to visit HIroshima and Miyajima ?

Itinerary

Tokyo day 1 to 6 days

(NIkko , Kamakura and Hakone)

Takayama day 6 to 7

Kyto 7 to 10
(nara)

Hiroshima 10 to 11

Osaka 11 a 12

Nahoshima day 12 to 13

Osaka 13 a 14

Tokyo 14 al 15

For this would I need to buy the 14 Day of the JR pass?

Thank you

Hi Ceciliapv,

You'll be travelling a lot and I certainly recommend using a 14 day JR Pass here. You will be travelling on a nearly daily basis with a good amount of Shinkansen travel. You can find out exactly how much you save via our farecalculator. www.jrpass.com/farecalculator

Travel from Kanazawa to Kyoto is a lot faster than from Takayama, so adding it would not add a lot of travel time and I think Kanazawa itself is determinately worth checking out, even if it is for only one day.

For travel to Naoshima, reserve about 3 hours including the ferry for this trip.

Generally I would advise 2 days for Hiroshima/Miyajima but you can get a nice impression of both places in one day.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
