Hi there,

Visiting Hiroshima from Tokyo is a long trip, so it is smart to break up the trip with stops in between. What you could do is the following itinerary.

Start in Tokyo, then visit Kyoto, go on to Hiroshima and Miyajima. Then on the way back make a stop over at Osaka before returning to Tokyo. You can spend as many days as you like in each place. Hakone is also on the route between Tokyo and Kyoto, so it would be easy to stop there as well. The JR Pass fully covers this route and you can make very good savings with it.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
