This is my first trip in Japan. I have plan my trip as follow. please advice what kind of transport pass i should buy in order for me to travel all itinerary starting from airport in Kansai

27/3/15 --- arrive Kansai airport (how to go to Kyoto centre from airport)
27 & 28/3/15 --- In kyoto (what pass i can use to travel around sightseeing)
29/3/15--- From Kyoto to Nara (how to go to Nara)-- overnight in Nara
30/3/15--- From Nara to Tokyo (how to go to tokyo)
30-2/415--- Travel around tokyo (what pass i can use to travel around tokyo?)
2/4/15--- Tokyo to Narita airport (how to go to airport?)

I am confused with what kind of transport pass i should buy during my visit. Please advice. How much is the 7 days pass for 2 passengers? Do you advice me to buy unlimited 7 days pass?

Thank you so much for helpful tips. Just a quick 3 questions

1) Do i need to stop over at kyoto from Nara to Tokyo?
2) To take bullet train, can use Icoca pass?
3) In tokyo can use Icoca pass as well?

Hi Joyce,

1.) You can either travel via Osaka or Kyoto from Nara to Tokyo.

2.) No, the bullet trains require a normal ticket.

3.) Yes!
