My family is staying near Ueno. I am travelling with a handicapped daughter on wheelchair. The shortest walking distance from our apartment to metro station is either INARICHO/IRIYA. Can you advice the fastest way( with minimum transfer) to Kamakura from the either one of the station. I seach at Hyperdia but all listing comes with few tranfers

Hi there,

I am afraid that there will be some transfers, no matter what.

The best route seems to be via Shimbashi: see this route.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Hi Daniel-san

If I will to use Yamanote Line from Ueno and Yokosuka Line to Kamakura, can you recommend a single day JR pass that cover both lines

Hi Robin,

I think the best way for this route would simply be to buy normal tickets or use an IC card.

The JR pass as well as the JR Kanto and JR East Pass cover the route but require more travel in order to be efficient.
