Mount Fuji Post Office

Hi all, I have read that we can send post cards from the summit of Mount Fuji. The post office opens from 6AM-2PM. Do they sell postcards AND stamps from the summit? Are the postcards special/exclusive? What if the post office is close? Can we just bring them and drop them in some box instead? Thank you for your replies.

Hi there,

Yes you can purchase stamps and postcards directly at the post office. There's also a mailbox where you can post your own cards in case the post office is closed.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Is there any difference between buying at the post office VS buying myself before going up Mount Fuji?

Thank you Daniel-san.

Hi again!

I am not sure what design there's on the post cards from the top. You could bring your own just to be save, then if you really see a nice one at the post station, get that one instead :)
