Hi! Is there a maximum time between transfers?

For example, if I get off one line at 10:00 AM and decide to transfer to the next line after 2 hours at around 12:00 PM, is this fine?

Thank you

Hi there,

No, the JR Pass is truly unlimited within its validity period. You can get on and off the train whenever you like.

This is different with purchasing normal tickets, depending on the amount and distance, a limited amount of time to complete the journey is allotted.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
