4.03.2017 - Narita Airport -> Tokyo (Sakura hostel Ikebukuro)
6.03.2017 - hostel -> MIURA REINEN cemetery -> hostel
7.03.2017 - hostel -> Tokyo Disneyland -> hostel
12.03.2017 - Tokyo -> Kyoto (A-yado Gion hostel)
13.03.2017 - hostel -> Okunoshima -> hostel

in between of course i would want to move around Tokyo and Kyoto, see some shrines and famous places like Shinjuku, Harajuku, Roppongi and so on.....my main worries are: Okunoshima, Nagoya, Tokyo - Kyoto and Narita - Tokyo - Narita.....

my idea is to buy 7 day JR Pass, starting from Tokyo -> Narita. i also found something like Tokyo Metro All-line Pass. but will it be usefull for me? and how can move around Kyoto? somebody please help? ;__; <3

Hello there,

I think it makes sense to use a 7 day JR Pass from 12.03 to 18.03. This is by far the part where you cover the most distance and the JR Pass will give you outstanding savings for travel to Kyoto and Nagasaki. The JR Pass will cover travel to all the cities you want to go to but you may still need local travel from other companies, such as the subway in Kyoto or ferry to Okunoshima from JR Tadanoumi Station.

When it comes to finding the best route to any place in Japan, doing a Google search for [Place Name] + Access is a great start. You'll be able to find 99% of any place this way.

The best way travelling around Kyoto is by bus, buses go anywhere and you can buy a 500yen day ticket from the driver. There is also limited access around the south and west of Kyoto using to JR lines. Personally, I also love renting a bicycle and exploring the city that way.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Hi there,

Yes, that is possible. You can even use the Shinkansen.

You can use the JR Pass Fare Calculator to find an approximate ticket cost of a single route or even your full itinerary.

Finally, it takes about 106 minutes from Hiroshima to Tadanoumi.
