Baggage storage when visiting hakone

Hi all, i will be travelling to hakone from shinjuku and staying over one night in kawaguchiko.

I researched and found there are limited large lockers in shinjuku which can fit 27" luggages.

I plan to deposit my luggage at hakone-yumoto baggage service desk, follow by travelling around hakone for the day and returning to the station to collect the luggages and continue travel to kawaguchiko for the night

Anyone know what is the operation hours for the baggage service counter at hakone-yumoto as the website did not provide any information ?

Hello there,

I looked a various station websites but the coin lockers seem to have no closing time, or are at least accessible as the station is open.

An other alternative is to forward your luggage to your accommodation in Kawaguchiko, using a luggage forwarding service. Like Ta-q-bin](http://my.ta-q-bin.com/) by Yamamoto transport.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Hi Daniel, thanks for your reply.

There is also a "baggage storage desk" at 2F of hakone yumoto station where you can deposit your luggages there. Do you know the operating hours of this?

I am afraid the lockers will be insufficient or too small for my 27" luggage

Hi there,

As far as I could find out, the luggage station is open until 19:00 hours.

The station is operated by Odakyu, you could also e-mail or phone them via:
