HI, I plan to have a trip around tokyo for 8 days 7 night.
day1-2: tokyo
day3: matsumoto
day4: karuizawa
day5: kawaguchiko
day6: hakone
day7: yokohama

Is this arrangement okay? I arrange this just by looking at the map, but I don't know anything about the transportation, I am just afraid if I waste a lot of time on train.
and is it worthed to buy 7 days JR pass?
Thanks!

Hi there,

Yes, that looks fine. If you want to visit a new area each day, than that will mean a good amount of travel. However I do think you should have enough time to explore every place.

For a JR Pass, look at the options JR East offers. These will suit your itinerary best.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
