29" luggage for Shinkansen and subway and train

Hi,
i will be travel to Tokyo-kyoto-osaka-tokyo on OOct 2016. And my luggage is 29" so i was wonder can i bring it as i only have this luggage size for travel.Please kindly advice. Thanks

Hi there,

Here are are official rules for brining luggage on the train in Japan:

You may bring up to two pieces of baggage on board free of charge. For each bag the total of the length, width and height must not exceed 250 centimeters, the length must not exceed two meters and the weight must be no more than 30 kilograms.

Thanks. My luggage size 51.5cm(L) 78.5 (H) 28.5(W) total 158.5cm.(29") then can bring.. yeah.. cuz i only will bring 1 luggage for this time free and easy trip. Thanks so much for the useful information. ありがとうございました
