Tokyo - Kyoto - HiroshimaHi, I am travelling to Japan this summer and wonder whether I can use a Japan rail pass to travel from Tokyo - Kyoto - Hiroshima? My intended travel is as follows:
Would the Japan rail pass be the cheapest option? How long do these journeys take approximately? While I am in Tokyo (where I am staying for around 5 days) , I intend to travel mostly by metro. Is there a weekly pass that I can buy? If so, how much does it cost? I am also travelling to and from Narita airport. Can I travel to and from Narita airport using one of these tickets, or is there a ticket that I can buy that will be cheaper? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks. |

Hi there! Yes, a 14 day rail pass will give you great savings on your main travel. Around Tokyo and from Narita into Tokyo you have 2 options: the keisei skyliner and metro pass deals, or the narita express and suica card deals. While neither option gives you unlimited travel for a week, they will give you some great discounts. We have A good post about these discounts here: http://www.jrpass.com/forum/topics/using-the-japan-rail-pass/posts/multiple-tokyo-metro-passes Hope this helps! |
