Hi there, Yes! You can activate the JR Pass anytime up to 3 months from the date of purchase. We ask for an approximate starting date during our checkout process to ensure you will use your rail pass within this 3 month window - it is a guide for us and is not marked on any rail pass we issue. Sorry it's not clearer and hope this helps! |
