Choosing the starting date for the JR PassMy husband and I is travelling to Japan on June 24 to July 3. We are only planning to buy the 7days JRP on the 7 last days of our trip. Is there going to be a problem doing that? Or can we validate the JRPass for a later date when we get to Osaka? on the 24th? |

Hi there! There's no problem validating the Japan Rail Pass anytime up to 3 months from the date of purchase. When you validate your Japan Rail Pass you can select a starting date any time within the next 1 month. Provided you purchase your rail pass before you arrive in Japan, you can validate it on the 24th for use that day or up to 1 month before the 24th for use on the 24th. Hope this helps! |
